In the “Course Book 3: Citizen Participation”, Stephan Juen and Barbara Juen-Walder published an article about the application of the Smart Community Dialog in the Wil in November 2019.
»In the Swiss city of Wil, the citizens have a say in what steps their municipality should take to become a“ Smart City ”. The transformation process should be organized and designed according to your priorities. The knowledge required for this, which provides information about the wishes and needs of Wilers, was collected via the “Smart Community Dialog”. In it, the respondents assumed the fictitious position in a “Smart City” of the future in order to evaluate the measures for the transformation process from this perspective and to bring in their personal vision of the future.
